The aim of this study was to develop and standardize Organizational Procrastination Scale. In this regard 503 employees from different organizations in Tehran were selected through multi-stage sampling method. The results of test-retest and internal consistency of this scale revealed that the test-retest and Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficients were 0.75 and 0.89, respectively. The positive correlation coefficient between Organizational Procrastination Scale and Scale of Society Procrastination confirmed the concurrent validity (0.63, p ≤ 0.01). The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that more than %47 of variance of organizational procrastination was explained, indicating the good construct validity of the scale. Principal component analysis with obliman rotation confirmed a three factors solution. Confirmatory factor analysis with acceptable goodness of fit indices confirmed the 3 factors solution. Regarding to the findings it is concluded that the organizational procrastination is a reliable and valid scale and can be used for measurement of procrastination.

The aim of this research was to investigate psychometric characteristics of Social Exchange Styles Scale in Iranian population. Statistical population of this research included all women and men in Tehran. The participants were 470 of this population who were selected by multi-stage random sampling method. They responded to Social Exchange Styles Scale (Leybman et al.). For investigating the scale`s reliability, Cronbach`s alpha coefficient, and for valilidity, content validity and exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were used.Cronbach`s alpha coefficient (0.83) showed that this scale has high reliability, and results of exploratory factor analysis showed five factors including fairness, benefit-seeking, individualism, tracking and overinvestment with changing in some main items and removing items 5, 6, 11, 12, 26, 27, 30, 32, 36, 40, 44, 51, and 53. Also, results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that 41-items model had relatively good fitness. In addition, results of normalization showed that median scores of fairness, benefit-seeking, individualism, tracking and overinvestment in whole of Iranian sample respectively were 14, 32, 21, 27, and 13.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational procrastination and job burnout. The statistical population was all employees of public organizations in Tehran province. From this population 100 employees were selected by multistage random sampling method. Instrument included organizational procrastination and job burnout scales. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results showed the significant relationships between organizational procrastination (and its components) and job burnout (and its components).

The aim of current research was to investigate psychometric properties of Sauley and Bedeian Equity Preference Questionnaire and its relationship with Penner prosocial behaviors. The research method was descriptive using explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses, Chronbach Alpha and correlation analysis. Participants include 300 employees of Tehran education organization who were selected by random sampling method. Data were collected by Sauley and Bedeian Equity Preference Questionnaire and Penner Prosocial behaviors Questionnaire. Explanatory factor analysis with varimax rotation showed that Sauley and Bedeian Equity Preference Questionnaire consisted of three factors. Results obtained from rotated factors confirmed three factors model. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that fit indices of three factors questionnaire are acceptable, contrary to original form of the scale that was unifactorial. Results of Pearson correlation coefficients between equity preference and prosocial behaviors showed a significant correlation between them. Finally, according to these findings it can be concluded that Sauley and Bedeian Equity Preference Questionnaire was valid and reliable in Tehran education organization employees. According to acceptable measures of validity and reliability for Sauley and Bedeian Equity Preference Questionnaire and its significant correlation with prosocial behaviors, using this questionnaire is recommended to researchers and specialists.
